Day-by-Day: The Safari Journey

Day 1: Welcome to Africa

Arrive in Nairobi and you'll be met at the airport and whisked away to the leafy Karen district, settling into a private house inspired by the Out of Africa era. A peaceful place to shake off jet lag and soak in the first feeling of Africa before the adventure truly began.

Days 2–5: The Legendary Maasai Mara

A short scenic flight delivers you straight into the wild, landing on a tiny bush airstrip surrounded by endless plains.

For the next four days, your routine became simple and wonderful:

• Early morning game drives as the sun rises over misty grasslands

• Packed breakfasts enjoyed in the bush

• Lazy lunches (and a nap) back at camp

• Afternoon drives chasing golden-hour sightings

• Candlelit dinners under a sky overflowing with stars

Each day brings something new: a cheetah scanning the horizon, elephants crossing a river, lion cubs tumbling over each other or running from mama, and giraffes silhouetted against sunset.

A Hot Air Balloon Safari Over the Mara

If there is one moment that defines “bucket list,” this is it.

Just before sunrise, climb into a hot air balloon basket and silently lift above the savanna. Below you, rivers wind through grasslands, herds move like living brushstrokes, and the Mara glowing gold in the morning light.

An hour later, land in the bush and you are treated to a Champagne breakfast set among tall grasses, one of those surreal travel moments you’ll talk about forever.

Days 6–7: Amboseli’s Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views

After one final morning drive in the Mara, you'll board another small plane, trading endless plains for a unique mountain horizon.

Amboseli greets you with wide open spaces, shimmering swamps, and elephants…everywhere. Dozens of herds moving gracefully across the park, dust swirling around their feet, tusks catching the afternoon sun.

And then there’s Mount Kilimanjaro. When clouds clear, the sight of Africa’s highest peak towering above the savanna is something you never forget.

Day 8: A Gentle Landing Back to Reality

All adventures must come to an end, but not before one last morning in the wild.

After breakfast and a morning game drive, and a return flight to Nairobi, where a dayroom awaits you at a hotel near the airport. A place to shower, rest, enjoy a rooftop pool, and quietly reflect on everything you have just experienced as you prepare for the journey home.

By evening, board your flight home, carrying dusty shoes, full memory cards, and hearts forever connected to Kenya.  You'll already be ready to book your journey back.
